July long weekend (June 28-July 1) – Camping & Work Party

We want to celebrate Canada Day weekend with like-minded people! Come work for a bit and enjoy camping on the beautiful peaceful property we have.

We will be putting up our Retreat Domes! If you have ever wondered how these things get built, you come help with that! We need all hands on deck for a few hours to be able to get them built this weekend.

We will be doing a list of tasks and projects, such as:

  • We need lots of people to put up domes
  • Build a hiking path to the creek
  • Chicken fence
  • Weed whacking
  • Gardening
  • Chainsaw trees for firewood

We can also do land tours and hikes into the crown land. There’s a beautiful easy path that goes from the bottom of our property all the way up the hill to the crown land pond.
Snacks and water are provided for the weekend, bring your own meals.  You can come throughout the day for a couple of hours or stay the whole weekend. Every little bit helps. 🙂
We will be working from 10am until 3pm each day. Then fun and relaxing in the evening.

Bring:
Your own camp/outdoor chair
Water bottle
Work gloves (we have extras here if you don’t have any)
Camping gear – if you plan to camp

PLEASE let us know if you will be camping so we can make sure we have enough spots for tents and campers. Camping is free for the weekend.
We are totally off-grid but have a generator and the house to plug things in the charge. We also have wifi at the main house and you can use that all weekend. We will be getting a port-a-potty outhouse and will have a wash-up station for hands and brushing teeth, etc.
